National men's indoor hockey tourney to be held
Kathmandu, March 9:
The King Khan National Men's Hockey tournament is to be held here on coming March 18.
Eight teams including one team from the United Arab Emirates are competing in the event to be hosted jointly by Kathmandu Hockey Club and Nepal Hockey Association. The day-long tournament will be held on a league-cum-knockout basis at the covered hall of National Sports Council, according to the Club's Chair Rajendra Pathak.
Hockey clubs from Birgunj, Kathmandu, Makwanpur, Janakpur, Pokhara, the far-west and Tribhuvan Army club are the other teams competing with defending champion King Khan Hockey Club of Dubai, UAE.
